Juan
Cofounder, Personal Trainer/Soccer coach

Hi, I am Juan!

Fitness was initially brought into my life through sports as a child playing soccer and baseball. My love for the game followed me through college where I played as a DV-1 athlete. Later on, I passed my love for the game on to others as a high school soccer coach. Today I work one on one with individuals to take their game to the next level.

Besides my work as a soccer coach, I’ve also worked in the corporate world. Here I had the first-hand experience of the pitfalls that sedentary work has on the body. I had become inactive and overweight, I knew I needed a change. This time I went to the gym to implement a consistent and rigorous strength and cardiovascular routine. After a year's time, I was able to lose a remarkable 85 lbs. This turn in my life had brought me full circle and back to my original passion of being healthy and active. I decided to become NASM certified personal trainer and I couldn’t be happier!

Now I use my passion and experience of 17 years to help others make the change!

I am experienced in soccer, baseball, weight loss, lean muscle mass building and toning, strength training, endurance training, functional training, and senior fitness. I train all levels of fitness and all ages.

Hi, I’m Ana!

My experience in fitness began 10+ years ago with my own struggle to lead a healthy lifestyle after an unhealthy weight gain of 50 pounds! The process to begin an active lifestyle wasn’t easy but I kept at it, and before I knew it, I was hooked! I became active on a daily basis and my personal fitness had become my highest priority. In time I noticed the positive effects of fitness in ALL other areas of my life; my professional, family, and personal life all began to flourish!

Originally from the Bay Area, I returned home in 2013 to finish my degree and be with my family. While completing my Bachelors degree in Communication at UC Davis, I wanted a rewarding job with flexibility as well as the opportunity to stay active. I decided to pursue my personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine(NASM) and found this career to be the perfect fit! Today I continue to grow my knowledge of fitness and wellness and am an American Council on Exercise(ACE) Nutrition Specialist as well as certified in the field of Sports Injury.

What began as a part-time job helping others achieve their goals while doing what I love had become a full-time career by the time I graduated. During my 5 years of fitness experience I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of individuals with a wide range of abilities, needs and goals, that challenge me as a trainer and keep me looking forward to doing what I do every day!
